February 21-24, 2019 ‘The Charm of Spring ‘ at the Connecticut Convention Center
This year we partner with the show’s promoter NE Expos to bring Mike McGrath to the show. ‘ McG’ was Rodale’s longtime editor for Organic Gardening and has been a ‘Philly’ public radio host of You Bet Your Garden! for more than a decade. His wry humor, experience and expert horticultural advice captivate. Do not miss his two presentations at the show: Thurs., 2/21, 6 p.m.: The Good, The Bad, The Ugly: Getting Birds Toads & Bugs to Eat Your Garden Thugs; Fri., 2/22, 11 a.m.: Grow Your Best Tomatoes Ever.
In the meantime, join the fun group who crafts and sets-up the CT Hort membership display that is outside the seminar rooms at the CT Flower & Garden Show. A couple of hours here and there really help. volunteers are needed to:
- Sign-up CT Hort Ambassadors to introduce speakers at the show. Click here to choose the time slot and speaker you want to cover!
- Collate handouts & membership materials for the show
- Set up display tables and to break them down post-show
…these are just a few of the jobs that could use your help!
To volunteer and / or join the Committee, call Nancy Brennick at 860-529-8713 or email her at email@example.com. Regular meetings will be held to prepare. Watch for dates and times on the CT Hort calendar at cthort.org.
