CT Flower & Garden Show Particulars

  • VOLUNTEER!   We need your help to be an Ambassador for us at the show–that means introduce a speaker and you will enter free on the day you volunteer. Click here to choose the time slot and speaker you want to cover! 
  • Volunteer/Ambassador Instructions click here.
  • Free PARKING: Thursday and Friday only, there is free parking with a shuttle to the Convention Center at LAZ Parking GPS address:  18 Pequot Street (off Market St.). 7 AM>10PM  every 10 mins.

  • PARK–For all days: the cost to park at Front Street North and Front Street South is $5. Connecticut Convention Center garage offers no parking discount and is often full. Their usual rates apply.

  • CT HORT MEMBERS GET FREE ENTRY TO THE SHOW ON THURSDAY AFTER 3 PM: Bring your CT Hort Membership Card with you to the main entrance. To the right of the ticket takers you’ll see a desk which is the Show Office. Show them your membership card to get your hand stamped for free entry after 3 p.m.

  • HEAR MIKE McGRATH SPEAK THURSDAY AT 6 PM:  This year we partner with the show’s promoter NE Expos to bring Mike McGrath to the show. “McG”  was  Rodale’s longtime editor for Organic Gardening  and has been a ‘Philly’ public radio host of You Bet Your Garden! for more than a decade.  His wry humor, experience and expert horticultural advice captivate.  Do not miss his two presentations at the show:  Thurs., 2/21, 6 p.m.: The Good, The Bad, The Ugly: Getting Birds Toads & Bugs to Eat Your Garden Thugs; Fri., 2/22, 11 a.m.: Grow Your Best Tomatoes Ever.
