
Bats are an important part of a healthy ecosystem! Bats are also the only consumer of night-flying insects, which helps in controlling some familiar backyard pests.
Wildlife Biologist Brian Hess will talk about bats of the Northeast, their life cycle and migration patterns, the fight against white-nose syndrome and how we can help. Learn how to create a bat-friendly habitat and how to build and where to place a bat house.
