The North Haven Garden Clubs January meeting on “BALD EAGLES” by Ginny Apple needed to be rescheduled due to technical difficulties. The new date is February 17 at 7 pm at the North Haven Parks and Rec Center, 7 Linsley Street, North Haven, across from the Police Department. $5 guest donation collected at the door. Sign in is required and MASKS MUST BE WORN.
Ginny is a Master Wildlife Conservationist with the State Department of Energy and Environmental Protection (DEEP). A lover of all things natural, she resides in Barkhamsted and is a member of the Barkhamsted Conservation and Economic Commissions, and the Farmington River Watershed Association. She also volunteers regularly with the Barkhamsted Historical Society. Ginny’s presentation will focus on the natural history of the Bald Eagles, their habitat, diet, behavior , reproduction, nesting care, and current efforts.
