The New York Botanical Garden presents: Impressionism: American Gardens on Canvas, an exhibition that examines the art-historical and horticultural significance of the widely popular garden subjects that prevailed in the US between 1887 & 1917.
IN THE CONSERVATORY
A horticultural exhibition will evoke several gardens depicted in American Impressionistic paintings on display in the Art Gallery, recreating iconic elements of the gardens of the time in the 19th and early 20th centuries.
