DESCRIPTION:This workshop is sold out but you can add your name to the waiting list by emailing office@cthort.org. \nJoin us for a “Pinching Perennials” Workshop with Nancy DuBrule-Clemente on June 17 from 1-2 pm at Natureworks\, 518 Forest Road\, Northford. \nJoin Nancy DuBrule-Clemente in the Natureworks Teaching Tent and Gardens for a talk and hands-on demonstration of how and why you should pinch back your perennials in June. \nBased on the book\, The Well Tended Perennial Garden by Tracy Disabato-Aust\, learn why Nancy always says\, “If you aren’t walking out of your garden in June with tarp loads of garden clippings\, then you aren’t being brave enough!” \nYou will be taught why pinching back reduces staking and how it can double or triple the bloom time of your late summer and fall perennials. \nThe workshop is $20 and includes cold drinks and a comprehensive handout.
