Hill-stead Museum’s French-themed Spring Gala is May 20

Cancan dancers. Absinthe. Moulin Rouge. Transport yourself to Paris, 1888 at Hill-stead Museum’s Annual Benefit Gala. Join them on Saturday, May 20 from 5-10:30pm for a magical evening that will allow you to re-live the absinthe-fueled joie de vivre of 19th-century Paris, complete with the own Green Fairy. Celebrate fashion, innovation, culture, and nightlife at this unique event that promises to indulge the artistic side of partying.

1888 is a crucial year for Hill-Stead’s history. It was during this year that our founder, Theodate, visited Paris for the first time and fell in love with architecture, as the Eiffel Tower was being built. It was also during this trip that Alfred, Theodate’s father, purchased his first Monet.

Join them in honoring our founders’ legacy and supporting this magical museum. Help raise funds by shopping the silent and live auctions offering fine wines, unique experiences, and so much more.
