| Artists are wanted for Hill-Stead Museum’s 2nd Annual Juried Members Exhibition, “Castles in the Sky.” The theme was inspired by our Founder Theodate Pope Riddle and her girlhood description of daydreams as “air castles.” Though it only appears once in her adolescent diaries, air castles are her wishes for her grown-up life and what she would become. So, what are your air castles, or dreams, musing, or fantasy brought to life in your artmaking? Deadline for submissions on CaFÉ is March 28, 2025. The exhibition will be on view May 15 – June 29, 2025.
