UConn Extension is thrilled to celebrate the 11th anniversary of Bug Week with a series of fun, family-friendly events across Connecticut from July 13–19, 2025. Bug Week programs are designed to help people of all ages learn about, appreciate, and explore the amazing world of insects and their relatives.
Each event offers hands-on learning opportunities where children and adults alike can engage with entomologists, naturalists, Master Gardeners, or 4-H Educators to discover the critical roles bugs play in pollination, pest control, food systems, and biodiversity. All are welcome so come celebrate the world of bugs with us!
