Education Vacation Days: kids can spend them at Bartlett

Why stay home when you can venture outdoors with naturalists at the Bartlett Arboretum & Gardens? The October program, on Oct. 13 from 9am-4pm, captures the spirit of fall, like a day of summer camp but with crisp air, colorful leaves, and seasonal traditions.

Collect seeds and leaves, create nature art, set out on a scavenger hunt, take a fall forest hike, and decorate pumpkins. Along the way, search for owls and hawks, notice the signs left by other woodland animals, and celebrate the beauty of autumn together.

Between activities, warm up with apple cider or hot cocoa, enjoy cozy indoor crafts and games, and share a snack with friends.
