The North Haven Garden Club hosts “Bats” with Ginny Apple on Jan. 26 from 7-9 pm, at the North Haven Congregational Church, 28 Church St., North Haven. Mr. Benjunas presents a program on the nine species of bats that are categorized into two groups: cave bats and tree-roosting bats. Also learn about the fascinating and often misunderstood mammals and the role they play in our environment.
