Join Nancy in the Natureworks Teaching Tent and Gardens for a talk and hands-on demonstration of how and why you should pinch back your perennials in June.
Based on the book, The Well Tended Perennial Garden by Tracy Disabato-Aust, learn why Nancy always says, “If you aren’t walking out of your garden in June with tarp loads of garden clippings, then you aren’t being brave enough!”
You will be taught why pinching back reduces staking and how it can double or triple the bloom time of your late summer and fall perennials.
