Connect with other like-minded gardeners to learn all about daylilies at “Daylily Basics,” hosted by the Connecticut Daylily Society. The event will be held on Sat., Sept. 23 at noon the Avon Senior Center, 635 West Avon Raod. Avon.
The event features Adele Keohan, from the New England Daylily Society and the editor of the Daylily Journal, the national magazine of the American Hemerocallis/Daylily Society.
The event includes a social hour with light refreshments from 12 to 1 pm, a quick show & tell and announcements, then an hour with Adele. She has great slides and is an expert on daylily culture.
