November highlights to look forward to: The Dark-eyed Juncos and White-throated Sparrows have arrived for the winter. With most leaves now fallen from the trees, it’s easier to spot raptors overhead, and many songbirds are forming mixed-species foraging flocks as they shift from competition to cooperation.
