CT Hort to participate in day-long “Rhodo Rendezvous”

CT Hort is thrilled to be participating in the “Rhodo Rendezvous” on Sunday, May 19 for a daylong exploration into the world of rhododendrons.  

Rhodo Rendezvous:
10:30 – 11:45 am: Panel Discussion at Carriage Barn Art Center, New Canaan, CT $ 20
Get inspired by expert insights in our engaging panel discussion, featuring:

Moderator: Sara Bailey, UConn Master Gardener Program
American Rhododendron Society Panelists:
Richard A Flavell, PhD Yale University scientist and immunologist is renowned for his hybridization of “big leaf” rhododendrons with hardy varieties, resulting in numerous hardy and attractive plants.
Ron Rabideau, former president of the Greater Philadelphia Chapter, brings expertise in plant hybridization, including the introduction of ‘Absolute Citron’ and ‘Jersey Mammoth’, and has a broad interest in various plants, with extensive experience in propagation and plant collection expeditions to Asia.
