Join your friends and neighbors at the Hamden Land Conservation Trust for a hands-on Stewardship Event at our beautiful Winterberry Wetlands property on the Farmington Canal Trail opposite Route 10 Restaurant (3810 Whitney Avenue) Saturday, September 26 from 10am – noon (Rain date: Sunday, September 27, 1 pm – 3 pm. We will be planting native pollinator perennials thanks to a generous gift from our friends at Audubon Connecticut. (IMPORTANT: Please park on the far side of the lot away from Route 10 Restaurant to leave plenty of parking for customers.) Please wear gloves and sturdy shoes, and bring clippers, rakes, or a shovel (if you have them) and a refillable water bottle. Your time and energy will make a real difference in protecting and beautifying this special place.
