In collaboration with the Wild Ones Mountain Laurel Chapter, the West Hartford Garden Club is delighted to announce a guided tour of our club’s long-term ecological restoration project at Spicebush Swamp Park on Mountain Road.

Come learn about the project and enjoy the birds, insects, native plants, and natural beauty of this special place, where our club members have been working almost weekly for the past five years.

A small parking lot is located just north of the intersection of Mountain Road and Farmington Avenue in West Hartford.

Please wear sturdy, comfortable footwear. The walk will take place on natural terrain, which may be uneven, muddy, or damp in places.
