Katharine is an interdisciplinary scholar who merges science, policy, and the arts on the topic of plastic pollution. She’s worked on plastic pollution projects worldwide, including Connecticut, India, Scotland, and the Arctic Circle. Katharine is also Professor and Chair of the Department of Politics, Economics, and International Studies at the University of Hartford.
