Wildflower Folklore

The Suburban Garden Club of Cheshire January meeting will be held on January 21, 2026. The topic of the presentation is Wildflower Folklore and will be given by Ken Elkins who is Director of Education and Partnerships at the Catherine Violet Hubbard Animal Sanctuary in Southbury. His talk will include how to identify different wildflowers, their characteristics, habitats, and blooming seasons. In addition he will speak about the rich history, mythology, and cultural significance surrounding various wildflowers.
