UConn holding IPM Seminar Series Aug. 18

Join the 2nd Annual IPM Seminar Series on August 18 hosted by the UConn Plant Diagnostic Lab and the UConn Home & Garden Education Center! All are welcome, including home gardeners, commercial growers, professional horticulturists, or any others with an interest in pest management to come learn about plant health tips and enjoy a complimentary lunch at the Wilfred B. Young Building (Rm 100) from 10:00am to 2:30pm.
This event will feature talks and Q&A with UConn faculty and experts, including “2023 Disease Update & Plant Health Tips” presented by Dr. Nick Goltz, “Intro to IPM for Home Gardeners” presented by Marie Woodward, “Good Bug, Bad Bug” presented by Pamm Cooper, “Small Fruit IPM in the Home Garden” presented by Evan Lentz, and “Right Plant, Right Place: A Look into Turfgrass Selection” presented by Dr. Cathryn Chapman. Please feel free to bring in sick plant tissue to practice your disease identification skills and receive free consultation!
