Join the CT chapter of the American Society of Landscape Architects (ASLA) on January 24 at Kinsmen Brewing Company in Milldale, CT for a celebration of excellence in landscape architecture. They will unveil the winners of the ASLA Connecticut 2024 Professional & Student Awards, recognize chapter members for service, and conduct a (brief!) annual meeting.
Hors d’oeuvres and cash bar will begin at 6 p.m. followed by buffet-style dinner, annual meeting updates, and presentation of the award winners. Each registration includes two complimentary drink tickets.
A major focus of the evening will be raising funds for our chapter scholarships. Last year, chapter members were able to confer scholarships to eight college students totalling $12,500, thanks to the generosity of their community. They are hoping to continue the season of giving by raising $15,000 in proceeds to support students and emerging professionals as they pursue their education and put down roots in the profession.
The Connecticut Chapter of the American Society of Landscape Architects is a 501(c)(6) nonprofit organization incorporated in Connecticut. Contributions to section 501(c)(6) organizations are not deductible as charitable contributions on the donor’s federal income tax return. They may be deductible as trade or business expenses if ordinary and necessary in the conduct of the taxpayer’s business.
