Tour Des Trees-ASLA wants you to join them

Attention, bicycling fans! 2024 Tour des Trees is an annual weeklong bike ride to benefit the TREE (Tree Research and Education Endowment) Fund, an organization that supports research and education on urban tree care issues, as well as student scholarships. For the sixth year, Team ASLA is being formed for the ride, and all landscape architects (and their friends) are welcome to join. The 425-mile route this year begins in Stamford, CT, crosses Rhode Island, loops Martha’s Vineyard, skirts southern Massachusetts, and ends in Providence. (Note: you may elect to ride for only one or several days!) See further information or register as a rider (and Team ASLA member), or contact Team ASLA coordinator David Gorden, FASLA at [email protected].

CTASLA, which stands for the Connecticut Chapter of the American Society of Landscape Architects, represents, educates, and advocates for the profession of landscape architecture in the state. We champion the role of landscape architects as essential to development of built environments, stewardship of the natural environment, and protection of public health, safety, and welfare.
