All Things Cut Flowers: Growing, Designing & Industry Insight- Jillian will take us through the essentials of basic cut flower growing, from ideal varieties to growing specifics. This information will dovetail into using the flowers you grow for floral design 101 and information about the current state of the cut flower industry in the United States.

Jillian has spent the past 14 years managing various farms across the United States with a focus on educating others about plants. She’s had the pleasure of partnering with experts in the horticulture industry for the past seven years, which is the source of her love for houseplants, perennials and annuals. All this experience has led her to where she is now, running her own botanical design business, PlantHer, and managing the Connecticut Flower Collective, a hub of local commercial cut flower growers selling to the wholesale trade.
